Sector leaders appointed to EngAge BC Member Council
Today, EngAge BC is publicly announcing the appointment of nine leaders from across the seniors’ living and wellness sector. The representatives will form EngAge BC’s Member Council.
“We are very pleased to have the support and commitment of such a distinguished council. Chaired by Melanie Reinhardt, President, Vantage Living, the appointees will be responsible for the strategic oversight of EngAge BC,” says EngAge BC CEO Daniel Fontaine.
The members are as follows:
- Melanie Reinhardt, EngAge BC Chair, Vantage Living
- Kris Coventry, Trillium Seniors Living
- Stasia Hartley, Bayshore Home Health
- Riz Gehlen, Promerita
- Vic Klassen, H&H Total Care
- Paul Martins, Park Place Seniors Living
- Celeste Mullin, GLM
- Jackie Reiners, Augustine House
- Ron Pike, Elim Village
“I am looking forward to working with such a well-respected group of colleagues from across the sector and supporting EngAge BC and its programs. Through everything we do, our aim is to ensure that seniors have great options for housing and wellness services,” says Melanie Reinhardt.
This fall, the council met to draft a strategic plan, which will be confirmed over the coming months.
“The council will play a fundamental role in guiding EngAge BC staff. It is our expectation that it will work independently of BCCPA’s board of directors,” says Fontaine.
Join representatives of the Member Council on October 15th when EngAge BC will report back to members on what they have learned from the consultations on the quality assurance program, Assurity, and contribute to the program’s development.
