ABOUT
Route65.ca is a free, online tool that helps connect seniors and their family members with the services offered by B.C.’s leading operators of independent living, assisted living, long-term care and home health care.
Route65.ca was developed by EngAge BC, a non-profit operating arm of the BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA), in response to a visible gap in quality information about seniors’ living and wellness options in the province.
On Route65.ca, seekers can find more information on independent living, assisted living, long-term care and home health care options. Route65.ca also helps users navigate the seniors living and wellness continuum through our Glossary, Frequently Asked Questions and Resource pages, along with Walter, our 24-7 virtual concierge chatbot, who helps triage seekers to the most appropriate options.
OUR VISION
It can be difficult to navigate the maze of seniors’ living and wellness options in the province. Through Route65.ca, we aim to provide a jargon-free, easy-to-use tool for the public that helps make the process of accessing seniors’ housing and care in B.C. simple. In doing so, we seek to develop and champion B.C.’s non-government seniors’ living and wellness sector as a way for older adults to live well.
Seekers can be confident in using Route65.ca as a go-to resource for finding safe and reputable options, as operators must be BCCPA or EngAge BC members to create a listing.
By limiting eligibility exclusively to our members, we can ensure that each listing is offered by a credible and legitimate service provider that adheres to the Association’s Code of Conduct.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
Available to EngAge BC members free of charge, a listing helps your organization market your residence or services through photos, videos, amenities, service listings, testimonials and more.
