EngAge in Conversation Series Announces “Road Map to the Future” Webinar
EngAge in Conversation, a new webinar series featuring insightful presentations and compelling speakers around the topic of seniors independent living, is announcing its third event Road Map to the Future: Understanding Today’s Trends and Tomorrow’s Demands in Seniors Living. Events are free for EngAge BC and BCCPA members and the subject matter of each presentation has been uniquely curated for independent living operators.
Here is some of the feedback EngAge BC received from the first session, Behind the Curtain of ‘Internalized Ageism’ and How it Impacts Marketing & Census (recording available on request):
This was one of the most helpful webinars I have attended, marrying internal ageism with the power of a good idea in telling a different retirement living and aged care story – changing the narrative from within! Kudos!!!
Fantastic! Our team members that attended yesterday had great feedback – really positive!!
That was a very good presentation – plenty of useful insights.
Amazing! SUPER helpful, quality presentation.
Webinars will lead up to the inaugural Seniors Living Expo + Job Fair taking place this November in the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre.
About Road Map to the Future: Understanding Today’s Trends and Tomorrow’s Demands in Seniors Living
Canada’s seniors living sector is in a state of change due to an aging demographic and a lack of affordable housing. This can make decisions about growth and expansion challenging – particularly as British Columbians manage what feels like a never-ending pandemic.
What if you had a roadmap that would tell you what to build, and guide you through the timing and demographics for when and who to build for?
Join Rita Thibault, Principal of Westbridge Group, on March 10th for an insightful webinar where she will provide ideas for your organization to create a roadmap by exploring the following questions:
- What do the demographic forecasts tell us? How many new spaces will be required to meet the demand of our aging population?
- What do the wealth characteristics of our target-age markets tell us? Can seniors afford the higher rents we need to offset current construction costs, wage rates, and other inflationary pressures?
- What do our changing operating margins and profit margins tell us? What are the trends? How does the active adult approach compare with independent living and assisted living/memory care?
Westbridge Group is Western Canada’s leading provider of appraisal and consulting services to the service-enriched seniors housing market in B.C. and Alberta for more than 25 years. Rita has extensive experience as a corporate appraiser and brings a unique perspective on the going-concern appraisals for seniors housing and growth strategies to the sector’s clientele.
