Howegroup to Consult on Assurity Program
EngAge BC has established a contract with the Howegroup, which will see the Vancouver-based consulting practice support the development of EngAge BC’s quality assurance program, Assurity.
“EngAge BC knows that the seniors whom our members support have choices across the marketplace. The ability of our members to demonstrate that they are a cut above the rest, not just in operations, but in hospitality, is integral to the important work they do,” says Daniel Fontaine, CEO, EngAge BC.
“This is why we are committed to developing a practical program which assists operators in meeting industry standards and supports the public to make informed, confident choices about independent and assisted living,” he continues.
EngAge BC’s quality assurance model will be premised on intentional consultation, careful design, and strong marketing and communications efforts.
“We are pleased to have the Howegroup supporting this important work,” says Fontaine.
Over the coming months EngAge BC will be working with the Howegroup to consult with seniors, operators and front-line workers.
“We are looking forward to hearing from seniors about what factors influence their decisions on where to live. We are anticipating some lively conversations that will not only inform the development of this innovative program but also the array of choices offered by seniors living and assisted living operators,” says Winona Giannasi, founding partner, Howegroup.
More information will follow soon about EngAge BC’s Assurity Forum.
