Handicare announced as title sponsor for BCCPA’s virtual 2020 Annual Conference

BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA) is pleased to announce Handicare as the title sponsor for its 2020 Annual Conference.

The virtual event with the theme “COVID-19: What Set B.C. Apart?” will take place in September.

“In years past, Handicare’s sponsorship has helped our small team organize the largest conference of its kind in Western Canada,” says Cathy Szmaus, BCCPA Vice President, Operations and Corporate Partnerships. “This year, as we move away from the bustling gatherings in Whistler to a fully virtual event, we’re thankful to have their support. We look forward to working with the Handicare team over the coming months to pull off a successful conference in September.”

Conference programming will delve into the impact of the novel coronavirus on the seniors’ living and wellness sector, and profile the best practices and collaborative approach that resulted in British Columbia having the lowest number of COVID-19 deaths per capita of any province, U.S. state, or western European country with at least five million people.

“One thing we have all learned in 2020 is that we need to be willing to adapt in these challenging times and BCCPA has once again shown its ability to innovate in support of the continuing care industry,” says Jared Bespalko, Handicare Regional Sales Manage. “With that said, we at Handicare are excited to continue our support of BCCPA and its members as title sponsor of the virtual 2020 Annual Conference.”

“Although we will miss the opportunity to meet everyone in person, this event presents a unique opportunity to bring together continuing care stakeholders from across the province and beyond to safely network, learn and share. We look forward to connecting with everyone in September!” Bespalko adds.

Details on the program, pricing, and sponsorship opportunities will be announced soon.
