Dignity Seniors Society invites participants for 2SLGBTQ+Aging survey and conference
The Dignity Seniors Society (DSS), our close collaborator in promoting awareness of LGBTQ2S+ positive seniors care, is inviting you to take their 2SLGBTQ+ Aging Needs Assessment survey and to attend the Planning with Pride virtual conference for Queer older adults.
British Columbia 2SLGBTQ+ Aging Needs Assessment Survey
If you are 55+, a member of the 2SLGBTQI+ communities, and live in British Columbia, DSS invites you to participate in their survey with Royal Roads University of University of Victory to identify housing, health, community, financial and other needs. This survey is anonymous and closes on October 1st, 2022.
Planning With Pride Virtual Conference
This November, Winnipeg’s Rainbow Resource Centre is hosting Planning with Pride, a virtual conference for 2SLGBTQ+ older adults and those who care for them. Featuring 45 speakers, 30+ breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and an exhibit hall – PWP is three full days of workshops, research, and resources to inspire and inform fulsome strategies for later life.
